We were delighted with Talus Construction, as our choice of Contractor for roofing refurbishment works at this Grade II* Listed property. The Talus Team, under the management of Ben Evans (Senior Project Manager) & Gavin Evans (Site Manager) demonstrated a professional & conscientious approach in dealing with many issues that required a skilled knowledge of traditional roofing & building techniques. Weather conditions were exceptionally bad at times, but this did not dampen their professionalism & enthusiasm for the work in which they were engaged.
 

The Talus Team were dependable, responsive & communicated effectively with us, throughout the works. Towards the end of the Contract, unexpected & complicated structural works were deemed necessary, by our Consultant Structural Engineer, to replace defective timberwork supporting a thick Ashlar Stone parapet wall, above the single, prominent bay window. We felt confident in extending the Contract to allow Talus to devise a suitable works programme & to undertake the necessary works diligently, whilst respecting the historical importance of the property. This they did & we would not hesitate to use them once again.
