Following the discovery of an existing mineshaft on the perimeter road of the Royal Forest Factory, we were appointed to investigate and provide a fast track solution to our client’s predicament. This involved temporary staging, coring and cctv investigations followed by design and construction of a reinforced concrete bridging slab. Prompt design and construction minimised disruption to factory operations.
